Building on the success of SchoolDude’s proven Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform in the education market, Tom and the rest of the founding management team (Brian Bell, Kent Hudson, and Carsie Denning) launched FacilityDude in 2007. The goal of FacilityDude was to deliver industry-leading, on-demand software for facility, business, and maintenance operations in non-education markets.

With the commercial success of SchoolDude.com in the education market, Brian and the founding management team launched a sister company in 2006 called FacilityDude. The goal of FacilityDude was to deliver industry-leading, on-demand software for facility, business, and maintenance operations in non-education markets. FacilityDude.com went live on January 1, 2007, and has achieved great success in helping facility managers, service personnel, and building owners manage more with less, increase operational efficiencies, and deliver tremendous gains in client/tenant satisfaction.

Kent brings unique perspective and experience to bear when guiding the strategic vision of SchoolDude and FacilityDude as CEO of Dude Solutions. Along with Lee Prevost, Kent saw the opportunity to revolutionize educational system operations, facility and maintenance management, and IT operations by using the power of the Internet. Together, they founded SchoolDude (our sister company) in 1999 and started the journey of providing educational administrators with powerful and innovative solutions for facility and maintenance management, IT management and a wide range of business processes.

Senior Vice President, Technology, Dude Solutions
Lynn brings 20 years of experience in delivering complex technology projects on time and under budget. Her expertise spans various markets including inventory management, purchasing, work order management, insurance, government, and non-profit organizations. Before joining the Dude, Lynn was Managing Director of Technology at Strategic Resource Solutions (SRS) where she was responsible for managing software upgrades and changes to the CMMS and building controls product line with a 22-member team of developers and project managers. Prior to SRS, she served as a senior project manager and developer on the ACT 1000 with Applied Computer Technologies (ACT) and worked as a software programmer with Mitsubishi International in warehouse inventory management. At Dude Solutions, Lynn is responsible for managing, building, and supporting a dynamic team of project managers and developers who together create state-of-the-art, Internet-based software applications.
