Town of Westport, CT Reduced Fuel Oil Costs by 35% with UtilityTrac Plus

Town of Westport, CT, has a population of 25,749 and contains 60 public buildings. Michael Frawley, Superintendent of Maintenance, was using spreadsheets to track utility spend but found it hard to understand how much was being spent on what commodities and in what buildings. He began using UtilityTrac Plus and now has a clear picture of what’s being spent where, and he’s done a project which lowered his fuel oil costs by 35%.

Durham, NC, Establishes Effective Preventive Maintenance Program with MaintenanceEdge

Durham, NC, is home to 233,252 citizens and has 22 public buildings. We recently caught up with Carl Locus, the Assistant Facilities Operations Manager, about the decision to implement MaintenanceEdge. Newton Medical Center Reduces Water Usage by 40% with UtilityTrac Plus

Newton Medical Center in Kansas is a 78-acre campus with 5 buildings. Shane Meier, Director of Facilities, wanted to better track utility consumption and identify ways to reduce costs. In his first year of using UtilityTrac Plus, he saved 11,000 gallons of water a day by replacing one piece of equipment, which reduced the hospital’s water usage by 40%.
