The Dude is back in the office after a successful trip to the N.C. League of Municipalities Conference in Winston-Salem! This past Sunday to Tuesday, hundreds of municipal officials gathered to learn more about important topics in municipal government in North Carolina.

It was a privilege for FacilityDude to attend the conference as an exhibitor and meet with the elected officials of North Carolina. We were able to speak with over 70 individual municipalities and gain more insight into the unique challenges facing each of these institutions including the economic impact on budgets. We understand budgets are a major concern for officials in the public sector and we were able to have a lot of great conversations on how we can help municipalities and local governments save money, improve service and run a more efficient municipality.

We were located in the green pavilion which sparked lots of conversation about green initiatives and sustainability. Sustainability has become an important issue and we found that the goals vary widely across municipalities. We had the opportunity to share our knowledge and discuss the benefits of understanding utility consumption in relation to municipalities.

We look forward to continuing conversations and building relationships with the great folks we met at the conference. Thank you to everyone at the N.C. League of Municipalities that made this conference a success! See you all next year!
